2023 State Convention
State convention was located at the Coeur d'Alene Resort in Idaho for a three-day convention starting Tuesday April 4th at 1200 on the first day and 0900 all other days with training on Friday April 8th for 1 full and 1 half day at the end. Annual Maintenance In-Service Inclusion
During the month of March any career may submit a written request to be tested for Maintenance Craft eligibility ratings for occupational groups excluding NST ET 11. Starting April 1, 2023 on an Annual basis, employee names on the preceding year's in-service registers shall be purged with exception of employee on the register whom must submit a written request to the MSS Coordinator during the preceding month of March requesting to remain on the in-service register. 2022 Fall Training Seminar
Fall training seminar was a success. In-person discussion has allowed for Stewards and Representatives to address potential issues occurring at local facilities and solutions to possible Grievances. Post Office Maintenance Operations

USPS Shipping Equity Act
Outdated Prohibition ERA Regulation needs to be changed with support of Shipping Equity Act. Currently private carriers report Billions in revenue while the Postal Service is prohibited by regulation. Help support this APWU legislative priority.
